If you have been asked to supply certified copies of your original documents, Atrix can arrange the certification that the copies presented/produced are a true likeness of the original document(s).

Certify a document as a true copy of the original by getting it signed and dated by a professional person, like qualified public accountants and solicitors with recognised qualification.

Type of Certification / Legalisation We Offer:

Certified True Copies By HKCPA (only applicable in Hong Kong)

Certified documents (e.g. company documents and business registration document, identification documents and particulars and trading documents and etc.) may be required by Government bodies, regulated financial institutions, Chamber(s)/Councils for certain application in Hong Kong.

Notarial Service By Notary Public in Hong Kong

A notary public is primarily concerned with the preparation and authentication of documents for use abroad. A notary is recognized internationally and nearly all the actions conducted by a notary are required for use in a foreign jurisdiction.

Documents requirement depends on the purposes and use of the documents, extra-documents may be required by solicitor under the process of notarial service.

Apostille Service

Hong Kong is a member of the Hague Apostille Convention and any official document destined for this country requires an Apostille from the Secretary of State.

Type of Documents Accepted for Apostille in Hong Kong:

  • Marriage Certificate, ie. certificates signed by Deputy Registrar of Marriage
    (For certificates signed by civil celebrants or issued by the church/temple, please obtain a certified true copy from the Record Office of the Marriage Registry)
  • Certificate of Absence of Marriage Record
  • Birth and Death Certificate

China Attestation Service By China-Appointed Attesting Officer

For attesting and certifying documents emanating from Hong Kong for use in Mainland China.

In issuing attested documents, the China-appointed attesting officer must ensure that the attested documents do not violate the law in Hong Kong and China under their personal verification to those documents.
